Then, late one night while waiting for Park Cheolho as usual, Han Suyeon was attacked by a suspicious man. Fleeing into the forest in fear, she lost her footing on a cliff and fell, eventually ending her life at the age of 27 without receiving any help.

Thus, Han Suyeon became a vengeful spirit due to her unfair death and the regret of a reunion that never happened. Even in 2026, decades later, she wanders around the zelkova tree where her memories of Park Cheolho remain.
