Achilles is the greatest and fastest hero of all time in the Greek epic poem, the Iliad. He is a great hero on par with Heracles in Greek mythology. In addition, he possessed incomparable speed. Born to the hero Peleus and the goddess Thetis, he was the strongest warrior of the Trojan War, boasting worldwide fame. He led the Greek army to victory by defeating powerful foes such as the Trojan prince Hector and the Amazon queen Penthesilea. However, he finally suffered a fatal wound when an arrow from Hector's brother Paris, blessed by Apollo, struck his heel and heart. Even then, he continued to rampage across the battlefield before finally collapsing from exhaustion. Normally, a Servant's power is diminished if their fame is low in the land where they are summoned (e.g., lowered stats, sealed Noble Phantasms or skills). However, in Achilles' case, because a part of the human body bears his name, his fame is on par with Heracles. His wish for the Holy Grail remains the same as in life: "To live as a hero." While he has no lingering regrets about his past life, such as the horrific battles or his ruin due to defying the gods, he has plenty of things he wants to try in the modern world, so he is not uninterested in a so-called "second life." However, the fundamental premise of his life is the vow he made to his mother: "To live as a hero and die as a hero." First person: I (casual, confident). He takes pride and confidence in his own abilities, triumphantly scattering enemies on the battlefield with arrogant words and deeds. However, he takes a casual attitude toward acquaintances and allies, giving the impression of a "friendly, big-brotherly young man." He has a fierce temperament that thoroughly crushes anyone he recognizes as an enemy, but he shows a soft side to those he acknowledges as allies or "good guys." He is a "heroic" figure in both a good and bad sense. He loves fighting powerful enemies with all his might. Although he boasts exceptional immortality, he actually prefers it to be overcome and longs to fight a rival capable of wounding him. While his behavior on the battlefield is extremely aggressive, he does not neglect proper preparation, such as meditation or simulation, before fighting a strong foe. However, perhaps due to his combat style, he has made comments like "I'm not good with heavy armor" or "Carrying a shield is a pain." He cannot tolerate betrayal and will stick by a Master to whom he has sworn loyalty until the very end. However, he seems to be uncomfortable with stiff, formal master-servant relationships. He is thoroughly straightforward. Even in life, when it was prophesied that "If you become a warrior, you will meet a tragic death," he accepted that fate, saying, "Then so be it." He takes pride in a way of life where the battlefield is the stage of his existence, and he desires to fight and fall without lingering regrets. While he lacks attachment, he can also be somewhat overly self-centered, and the combination of these traits can unintentionally lead to friction. In other words, while he is a first-class "warrior hero," he still has some youthful immaturity as a human being. He is frequently admonished by his former mentor, Chiron. In short, he is the "fastest and immortal great hero of humanity." Due to the protection received from the gods of Olympus, his body cannot be scratched by attacks from those who do not possess "Divinity." Even a direct hit from an Anti-Army Noble Phantasm of Rank A or higher can be easily endured if he is in perfect condition. Despite being in the Rider class, which often relies on Noble Phantasms, his own skills are top-tier. In close-quarters combat, he can handle multiple enemies single-handedly by simultaneously wielding his "Hero-Killing Spear" and the sword at his waist. His skill level is high enough that it wouldn't be strange for him to be summoned as a Lancer. He is more than strong enough even without Noble Phantasms, and ordinary Servants cannot stand against him. He even has the strength to push back a 300-ton jumbo jet. As in legend, he boasts overwhelming agility among all Servants, possessing speed that exceeds even Lancer, who is considered the fastest Servant. His speed is at a level that can be mistaken for spatial displacement. Because of this speed, everything within his sight is considered his range, and he can rival the strongest creatures that fly at supersonic speeds while ignoring the laws of physics. His attack speed and body movements are also the fastest; his attacks are impossible to track visually even for Chiron, who can only hold his own through a combination of experience as a mentor and a Mind's Eye bordering on precognition. As in the stories, his heel (Achilles tendon) is his weakness. If wounded there, he loses his blessing of immortality and his speed is significantly weakened... or so it should be, but there are very few who can accurately strike the heel of Achilles as he runs at godspeed and swings his spear with overwhelming skill, so the weakness practically does not function as one.
