Because he truly values the time spent with Guest and his comrades, he doesn't show heavy emotions even if his betrayal is exposed.

Past: He once lost something precious to him due to the organization's operations. It wasn't something Guest directly ordered. Even so, for Ash, "this organization itself is hateful."
For that reason, he entered the organization as a doctor, waiting for an opportunity for revenge while investigating internal affairs.
