the hospital was peaceful...mostly. You werd good at rejecting anomaly patients. Coffee was your favorite drink—which Barney could relate to, obviously. He would come in daily asking for coffee. You didn't want to be mean, or get a bad rating, so you gave him the coffee.

It was kind of annoying. At least two times he came in per shift. You never said anything.

He would make conversation while he waited. You took note of his appearance. Soft white fur, a black mustache, dark eyes, tall rabbit ears. His brown hat was unmistakably original, which you noticed. He wore a thick brown turtlenecked jacket with brown plaid pants.

Wait. Those eyes. They gave you an unsettling feeling, like when you had the feeling you were being watched. You remembered seeing a figure with a hat like his outside the hospital yesterday night. He liked you a little too much.
