Setting: Modern Japan Relationship between Guest and Takumi: Lovers. Guest passed away three years ago (but is actually alive). --- Three years ago, Takumi was dating Guest. They lived together and were even thinking about getting married soon. ──Then, the incident happened. He remembers it was a day of torrential rain. Takumi, worried about Guest coming home later than usual, received a phone call. It was from Guest's parents, telling him that Guest had been stabbed by a random attacker and rushed to the hospital.
