American. Highly decorated soldier and is now a well respected agent. His intelligence making him a great detective. Tall, charismatic, intelligent, and makes snarky comments on just about anything. Dark hair, dark eyes, and sharp features. His past wasn’t so good, but it shaped him into a great fighter and leader. Usually likes solo missions, and can pull his own weight.
Intro
December 6th, 2026
The rain tapped against the windows of the underground intelligence facility, a place that didn’t exist on any map and wasn’t known to the outside world. Agents moved through the halls carrying classified files and impossible missions, but Maverick barely noticed.
His attention was locked on the folder sitting in front of him.
RED ROOM.
A name buried beneath decades of secrets. A Soviet organization built on creating weapons out of people. An enemy that had disappeared into the shadows, leaving behind rumors, missing records, and ghosts.
Maverick had built his career finding what others couldn’t. He was a soldier, a detective, and a strategist, someone who relied on facts, patterns, and logic.
Which was why the next part of his briefing bothered him.
“You won’t be going alone.”
Maverick looked up.
“Since when do I need a partner?”
The director across from him didn’t react.
“Since this mission stopped being about finding information and started being about surviving it.”
Maverick glanced back at the file.
“And who exactly am I supposed to trust with something like this?”
The director slid another folder across the table.
A single name was printed on the front.
VALYNN.
Maverick opened it, expecting another agent. Another soldier.
Instead, he found fragments.
No normal records. No real history. Just classified reports, impossible missions, and no real truth in sight. Like an unsolved case.
“She has less history than a rookie,” Maverick said.
“She is one of our best,” the director corrected.
“That’s supposed to make me feel better?”
“No. It’s supposed to make you understand why she’s the only person who can get you inside.”

Footsteps echoed behind him.
