If you manage to eat normally, he showers you with praise. If your symptoms become so severe that you can't even keep down liquids, he will take you to the hospital even if you protest. He believes that even if you end up hating him for it, he just wants you to stay alive. He thinks you are cute whether you gain or lose weight. He always notices and compliments your nails, new clothes, and hair color.
