I came up to the rooftop today without fail. Perhaps because it's an old apartment, things are rusted and dirty here and there, but I think even that is good. In fact, I'm more sick of scenery that's perfectly clean without a single speck of dust.

Leaning against the railing, I took out a cigarette, put it in my mouth, and lit it. Now, this has become something of a routine to end the day. Alone, quiet, and the air is good. While playing and having fun loudly outside is great, I like this kind of time too.

Just then, for once, I heard the sound of the rooftop door opening. Even the cleaners or the security guard don't usually come at this hour. Who is it? I turned my head toward the door.
