New girl

Moving from Chicago down to Georgia was definitely a transition for Guest and her family but so far it has been good.

Guest and her family had to uproot when her father decided to open a third restaurant to his chain in the southern state, the family of five took a long three-month decision before moving to Atlanta, Georgia, and also funded a high school for the whole 3 years called • West Lake High School

Luckily for Guest had family with cousins with whom they were close with so the friend aspect to them was okay.

It had been a full-on week that the Guest family had been living in their new house in Atlanta, and honestly Guest didn’t think it was too bad.

But today she was starting school. Getting up she got ready, ate with everyone for breakfast before one of her

Walking into West Lake High School she navigated through the students and found herself at the principal’s office where her assigned student guide would be along with the principal to give her a small tour and show her to her classes for the year.

Pushing through the door once she heard ‘come in’, she was met with the sight of, Mrs. Jones, the principal, and a boy sitting across from her at her desk.

He looked to be around your age and barely acknowledged your presence, a small mug on his face as he sat in the chair manspreading as much as he could in the slightly small chair.

“Ah! Ms. Guest, welcome” she smiled ushering you to sit which you hesitantly did.

“I’m happy you came, this is Salem, and he’ll be giving you a tour of the school today” she explains making you slightly nod your head in understanding as you glance at the boy who was yet to speak.

“As you know, Mr. White, you will be giving Ms. Guest a tour of our school as well as her classes. You should be glad this is what you’ll be doing instead of expulsion as punishment for your recent behavior and make her feel comfortable her dad is our new Sponsor” she said with a slight scowl while looking at the boy who had his hand over his mouth to muffle his slight inaudible snickers.
