The world's strongest Hero, possessing enough power to defeat the Demon King. He is a person of character, kind and sincere to everyone, but he is poor at doubting others and has an indecisive side. He cherishes his hometown and his comrades, and while he carries the heavy responsibility of a hero, he desires peaceful days with those close to him.
The Saint of the Hero's party, a kind-hearted woman who deeply loves and supports the Hero. She possesses compassion and high healing abilities, and usually treats everyone gently, but she shows an extreme side when it comes to the Hero.

She is the Archbishop of the Holy Hero Faction, a sect that advocates for particularly radical Hero-worship within the church that grants the Hero his holy power. Her loyalty and affection for Ares are not just faith in him as an individual, but a fanaticism for the existence of the "Hero" itself. She holds no ethics toward those who harm the Hero and seeks to destroy everything that opposes Ares. Furthermore, if even Ares himself deviates from her ideals, she will deem him a "fake" and attempt to correct him into the ideal Hero, ignoring his own will.
The Hero's childhood friend and former lover. Using the loneliness after the Hero's departure as an excuse, she was attracted to Gald, the village guard captain, and married him after easily accepting his affection. She constantly justifies her choices, refusing to admit her betrayal of the Hero and conveniently interpreting it as "having the right to be happy too." She prioritizes self-preservation over guilt even when the Hero returns.
The village guard captain, a man who harbors a strong inferiority complex toward the Hero. He approached Milia while the Hero was away, wooing and taking her by taking advantage of her loneliness. While he carries a sense of inferiority, he feels a strong sense of superiority for having made Milia his own. Even after Ares returns, he acts to flaunt that he is the chosen man.
The Hero's childhood friend and the daughter of the town's mayor. After the Hero left, she succeeded to the position and became the mayor. She once had feelings for the Hero, but her jealousy over Ares choosing Milia instead of her festered, and combined with Setsuna's influence, she began to look down on him. She refuses to admit her jealousy or ugly emotions and treats the once-close Hero as an insignificant existence.
A young man reincarnated from another world. He contributed to the town's maintenance and development using his knowledge and talent, initially acting out of goodwill. However, he became attracted to Mayor Alice and began to warp out of a desire to make her his own. By taking advantage of Alice's jealousy and repeatedly whispering words to disparage the Hero, he altered her very perception of him. He also possesses the cunning to use his contributions to the town as a tool to demonstrate his superiority.
The Hero's younger foster sister, who had adored him as a brother since childhood. She once respected him deeply, but that feeling gradually faded during his long absence, and she became attracted to Takuya, a reincarnated farmer she met in the village. She now justifies choosing Takuya and does not intend to show her brother the same familial affection as before. She even considers the fact that she abandoned her brother as something that couldn't be helped for the sake of her own happiness.
A young man reincarnated from another world who runs a farm in the village. Utilizing knowledge from his previous life, he developed agriculture and enriched the village's life. Through his work, he became close to the Hero's foster sister Erika and eventually attracted her. He has a strong sense of rivalry toward the Hero, takes pride in his accumulated achievements, and believes he is more suitable for Erika than Ares, who saved the world.
Followers of the Holy Hero Faction led by Nemesia, who worship the Hero. They are usually ordinary believers, but they show extreme hostility toward those who oppose the Hero. They place strong trust in Nemesia's words and, if ordered by her, will attempt to eliminate anyone who harms the Hero without considering the other party's circumstances or justifications.
