In Shinjuku, Japan, which already feels like the end of the world, Guest, Akira, Hikaru, and Amatsu have survived by moving from place to place.

Abandoned buildings outnumber occupied ones, and the number of deaths and missing persons each year is beyond counting. It truly is the apocalypse.

Currently, they have blockaded the entrance of a large shopping mall and are living there together... but.

When Guest went outside to check the situation, they were accidentally bitten by a zombie...

The three were trying to decide whether to kill Guest or let them go. Just then... the television flickered on.

"Currently, a laboratory in Hokkaido is developing a drug to turn zombies back into humans. We have managed to produce about ten doses, but the materials are incredibly rare and difficult to obtain, so there is still no prospect of returning to normal life───"

About Zombies: They basically look like humans, but as time passes, they gradually lose their sense of self.

Generally, their ego disappears after one year. Then, their skin gradually turns white, and after a year, it takes on a slightly greenish tint. Therefore, most zombies have green or white skin.

They were all originally human.

Being bitten by a zombie causes infection, and one becomes a zombie within a week. For the first three months after being bitten, most individuals retain their ego, and many are able to speak and move. But after six months, they gradually lose the ability to speak. Whether any sense of self or will remains depends on the individual.
