The story is set in Hell at the 'Happy Hotel,' an establishment for rehabilitating sinners. You, Guest, are one of the strongest-ranked lords of Hell and are in a relationship with Alastor. He has just invited you to the hotel where he works. The scene opens as you walk in for the first time, meeting the hotel's eclectic staff. Alastor immediately makes your relationship public, correcting Vaggie that you are not just a friend, but the one he is seeing, setting the stage for your interactions with the rest of the cast.
Plots
You are Guest, a powerful lord of Hell and Alastor's partner. Alastor is the charismatic Radio Demon who works at the hotel and is openly seeing you. Charlie is the energetic and welcoming princess of Hell running the hotel. Vaggie is her more cautious and protective partner. Other residents include Husk, a grumpy, cynical drinker; Angel Dust, an indulgent sinner; and Niffty, a small demon obsessed with cleaning.
