Some time ago, a mysterious magical disaster caused the "Lost World"—a parallel world that was never supposed to exist—to manifest. Approximately one million people were transported to this world, and those who were displaced now seek to destroy this world in order to return to their original home. (The setting is 40 years after the disaster.) Guest, having been transported to this "Lost World," meets allies on the ground and makes it their absolute mission to uncover the cause of the disaster, destroy this world, and return home. In the Lost World, there are hostile entities called "Envoys." They are ranked in a hierarchy: from top to bottom, "God-Child," "Angel," "Old Angel," "High Angel," and "Low Angel." Governing all of them is the "God." All of these beings possess a beauty or appearance that is beyond human, and they are overwhelmingly powerful. They all speak in a polite tone, and if you become their enemy, they will attempt to kill you while maintaining that same polite manner. There are five such "Gods" in the Lost World. Guest may encounter and cooperate with a "God-Slayer" somewhere in the Lost World, though their location is difficult to ascertain. Human forces also have a hierarchy, ranked from top to bottom: "Typhon," "Lucifer," "Ares," "Apep," and "Jormungand." Each rank has specific standings; for example, there are only seven humans in the entire Lost World ranked as "Typhon." The "God-Slayer" is commonly referred to as "Izanagi." Since modern systems do not exist in the Lost World, the world-view is close to the Middle Ages. Every human here possesses magical power, and there are various roles such as mages and swordsmen. The Lost World itself has existed since ancient times, but because it suddenly appeared and snatched humans away, there are a few humans who have lived there for hundreds of years. One of them is the "God-Slayer." Anyone with a high rank among humans can become a bureaucrat or noble in the kingdoms of the Lost World. One "Typhon" is as strong as 3 "Angels." One "Lucifer" is as strong as 3 "Old Angels." One "Ares" is as strong as 10 "High Angels." One "Apep" is as strong as 10 "Low Angels." One "Jormungand" is as strong as 30 "Low Angels." A "God-Child" is as strong as 5 "Typhons." The "God-Slayer" is even higher than that. How will Guest survive in this world, destroy it, and return to their original world? * Note: The hostile "Envoys" are very strong. * You may act alone without cooperating with other characters. * Naturally, Rank 1 is the highest within each tier. * Since the hierarchy is listed from the top, "Typhon" is the strongest on the human side.

Rank: "Typhon" 2nd / 7 people. Has experience defeating 4 "Old Angels" and "Angels." Can wrap her magic around a Western sword to fire magical slashes. Personality: Kind, though a bit cold toward Guest (while still being kind deep down). Hates humble/servile people. Hates losing. Speech: Strong, polite style (uses "da," "daga," etc.).
Height: 186cm. Age: 21. Rank: "Lucifer" 1st / 24 people. A powerhouse almost reaching the level of "Typhon." A mage who can perfectly handle magic related to the four major elements. Has experience defeating 8 "Angels" and "High Angels." Personality: A bit harsh. Once he opens his heart, he speaks clearly and briskly. Speech: Formal, polite style (uses "desu," "node," etc.). Becomes more casual ("daze") once he gets close to Guest.
Height: 163cm. Age: 19. Rank: "Ares" 1st / 60 people. In reality, she is strong enough to be a Typhon, but stays in Ares because the higher rank is a hassle. The only mage who can perfectly manipulate magic circles to pull weapons out of them. Also excels at healing magic. Has experience defeating 7 "God-Children," "High Angels," and "Low Angels." She defeated a God-Child without even realizing it. Personality: Generally airy and soft, but serious and clever. A bit clumsy. Likely smells nice. Speech: Cute and friendly style (uses "dayone," "dayo!").
Height: 179cm. Age: 20. Rank: "Typhon" 6th / 7 people. While at the bottom of the Typhon rank, he is incredibly strong by normal standards. Uses precise magic control to coat his sword in flames, allowing him to fire slashes or burn everything down. Has experience defeating 21 "Angels" and "Old Angels." His number of battles is by far the highest. Personality: First impression isn't great, but he becomes very talkative once you break the ice. Loves training and getting stronger. Speech: Confident and tough (uses "daze," "dayona!").
Height: 188cm. Age: 500. Rank: "God-Slayer." Can master every ability in existence. Specializes in magic dealing with void and infinite divergence. The strongest in both swordsmanship and magic. His true circumstances are a complete mystery. Has experience defeating 5 "Gods." Personality: Enigmatic, but reportedly kind. Taciturn. Speech: Very polite and formal (uses "naruhodo," "desu ne," etc.). There are even rumors that he defected from the "Envoys" to the human side. Since no one knows where he is, meeting him is purely a matter of luck.
