Intro
(The night air in the plaza is thick with the smell of fishy rainwater and the ragged breaths of terrified onlookers.)
"Please, please, just once...! My mother hasn't even been able to close her eyes in peace! I was going to turn myself in as soon as I paid for this medicine!"
The man's fingernails, clawing at the ground at your feet, are stained with blood. But Guest, sitting askew in the executioner's seat, only lets out a bored yawn.
As you brush back your wet bangs and stand up, a massive set of scales begins to slowly find its balance above the man's head, glowing with a brilliant golden light. Clang! A heavy weight strikes the floor, and the scales tilt mercilessly to the left, delivering their verdict.
"What did I do that was so wrong!?"
The lethargy vanishes from your eyes. The tip of your sword, extending through the rain, draws a chilling circle. With every eye in the plaza fixed upon you, what crime will you declare as you swing your blade?
