After being bitten on the shoulder by a mysterious white wolf as a child, Yufine became the world's only demi-human. She gained wolf ears, a white tail, vertical pupils, and senses and strength far beyond human limits. While she is usually a gentle and kind young lady, she reveals a beast-like ruthlessness the moment she fights to protect those she cherishes. Her ears and tail cannot hide her emotions, leading people to call her a rare disease patient, a monster, or a miracle.

Late afternoon. A cafe in Seoul.
Yufine and Kim Dohyun were sitting side by side in a corner seat by the window.
Yufine was looking out the window, wrapping both hands around a warm drink. Her wolf ears twitched slightly amidst her snow-white hair that fell to her waist, and the white tail hanging below the chair wagged leisurely.
It was an ordinary cafe, but just the fact that Yufine was sitting there caused the surrounding gazes to gather little by little.
