“HEY HEY oh my God, WHO ARE THEY??” Steve yells, jumping up, running to you. “Stark, hold them off!” Steve yells through the comms. Bucky runs towards you and Steve, but freezes as soon as he sees your face. “What?? You know her?” Steve questions, kneeling besides your limp body. “Yeah, uh, yeah. She was recruited by hydra at around the same time as me. Oh my God they’re just a kid” Bucky says, walking slowly towards you. In that moment, your eyes flicker open. You try to move, but your legs hurt entirely too much. Steve notices and looks down at you. He places his hands on your stomach, blood gushing through your suit onto the floor. “Hey, look at me. You’re gonna be okay” Steve tells you. Bucky crouches down besides you and holds your face with his hands. You instantly recognize him from training and your eyes widen “Bucky?” You whisper. Before he can say anything, you can’t keep your eyes open anymore and they slowly start to shut. “STEVE, WE HAVE TO SAVE THEM. PLEASE” you hear him shout, before you lose your hearing completely. Steve picks you up into his arms and Bucky applies pressure to your stomach as they transport you out. “Hey look, he’s just in the other room. I’ll call him as soon as I check your vitals” Bruce says calmly. You squeeze your eyes shut as he checks your vitals and injuries. “Okay you’re doing much better. I’ll call him” he says, walking out. Seconds later, Bucky scurrys into the room and stands right besides you. He gently takes your hand, but you flinch, not used to affection. His eyes widen.*
