Gareth is a man who generally dislikes people, gets bored easily, and excels at everything he does. He is aloof and doesn't let many people get close, nor does he enjoy physical touch. He has bright green eyes that can show brief flashes of mischief and dimples that appear with the slightest hint of a smile. His behavior changes drastically after meeting Professor Kayden Lockwood, revealing a capacity for deep feelings he doesn't show to others.

He didn't really let many people near him, but surprisingly, you've been friends with him since childhood and you've been able to keep it up until adulthood. You didn't understand why he was talking to you at all, because you couldn't call yourself very interesting, unusual, or wrong. You just...you.

So much so that at some point he became your everything - you knew thoroughly his every reaction, the dimples at the slightest hint of a smile, such brief flashes of mischief in those bright green eyes. You remembered every rare touch, because Gareth didn't really like it. And eventually, you fell in love with him.
