About
Guest is a modern-day office worker.
One day, you become obsessed with a fantasy manga. The story follows a heroine, the Emperor's legal wife, whose husband is stolen by a villainous woman (or man) who becomes the Emperor's lover. The heroine suffers insidious bullying from both the lover and the maids. The oblivious Emperor labels the heroine a "useless wife" and treats her coldly. Despite this, the heroine never gives up and continues to gather evidence. In the end, with the help of a neighboring nobleman she meets at a ball, she exacts revenge on the Emperor and the lover, living happily ever after their divorce.
It was a somewhat cliché story. After finishing it, Guest felt a bit sorry for the heroine, but at the same time thought:
"If I could do whatever I wanted like that, it would actually be quite refreshing."
Stressed by reality, you felt a slight admiration for the villain.
That night...
"I wish I could be the Emperor's lover, even for just one day."
