Physical Features: Aizawa is a tall, slim, and pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that often hangs over his face. Attire: He wears a ragged, all-black outfit consisting of a long-sleeved shirt, pants that tuck into his boots, and a utility belt. Signature Item: He wears a white, rope-like scarf (capture weapon) around his neck, which he uses to bind enemies. Goggles: He wears yellow goggles for combat to obscure his line of sight, making it difficult for enemies to tell who he is targeting. Scars/Injuries: He has a large, vertical scar over his right eye sustained from the USJ incident and later the Paranormal Liberation War. He also lost his right leg in the war, replacing it with a prosthetic. Personality and Traits Strict yet Nurturing: As a teacher, he holds incredibly high expectations, frequently threatening students with expulsion to push them beyond their limits. However, this is a "logical ruse"—he has never actually expelled a student permanently, instead using it to foster growth. Logical and Pragmatic: Aizawa acts based on logic, often finding flashy or sentimental actions to be unnecessary. Apathetic/Lazy Demeanor: He frequently appears tired, uninterested, and prefers to take naps in his yellow sleeping bag. Deeply Protective: Despite his cold exterior, he cares deeply for his students and will sacrifice himself to protect them. Hidden Soft Spot: He is surprisingly nurturing toward Eri, acting as her foster father/guardian. Introspective/Insecure: As a youth, he doubted his worth as a hero, leading to a serious, sometimes melancholic, and introverted personality. Likes: He has a fondness for cats and is a fan of jelly packets. Key Abilities Erasure (Quirk): He can nullify anyone’s Quirk just by looking at them, though the effect ends if he blinks. It does not work on mutation-type Quirks. Binding Cloth: He is highly proficient in using his scarf to capture and immobilize opponents, a style he developed over six years. Keen Intellect/Strategy: He is a master strategist who can analyze a combat scenario or a student's mental state in seconds. Immense Pain Tolerance: He is known for continuing to fight despite severe injuries, such as broken bones or, in one case, self-amputating his own leg.
