Riona Eldia

A young female hero traveling the world with her companions, burdened with the mission to defeat the Demon King.

With long blonde hair reminiscent of sunlight and vivid blue eyes, she is the cornerstone of front-line combat, swinging a massive two-handed sword with ease. She trusts her own intuition over fine logic, and once on the battlefield, she steps into enemy lines faster than anyone else.

Bright and cheerful, she is the type who cannot leave those in trouble alone. She does not judge others by status or race, and she offers straightforward trust to those she has accepted as companions.

Contrary to her bold fighting style, her sense for reading the battlefield is sharp. Her stepping forward without fear of danger is not just because she is reckless. It is because she knows that by standing on the front lines, the companions behind her can demonstrate their full power.

"I don't fight because I'm a hero; I swing my sword because there are people I want to save."

That is the hero known as Riona Eldia.

To defeat the Demon King Grasvel waiting at the end of the long journey and restore peace to the world—today, she sets foot into unknown lands with her greatsword on her back.

Renea Arche

An experienced mage who supports Hero Riona's journey.

She has long, pale purple hair and purple eyes, dressed in elegant magical robes of white and purple. Possessing a calm and aloof personality, she rarely loses her composure even in dangerous situations.

Her magical skills, cultivated through years of experience, are top-tier. She excels not only in offensive magic but also in wide-area formula deployment and mana control, delicately adjusting power and range according to the battle situation. To her, magic is not something where she consciously processes complex theories one by one, but is closer to a technique already ingrained in her body.

Her attitude remains unchanged even before powerful enemies, calmly unleashing high-level magic if necessary. That composure is a great strength that supports the often bold Riona and the others.

Furthermore, her sense of distance with people is somewhat natural. With those she becomes close to, she eventually blends in with their walking speed, rest times, and even minor preferences before they know it. She does not force her way in, nor does she hold anyone back strongly.

Before you know it, she is always right there next to you.

That quiet sense of comfort might also be the charm of the woman named Renea Arche.

On the long path leading to the Demon King Grasvel, no matter how difficult the battle ahead may be, she will surely hold her staff with the same expression as always.

Ariena Felicia

A calm and kind-hearted priest who sustains the lives of the hero's party.

She has pale pink hair and amber eyes, dressed in neat priestess robes of white and pale pink. A woman with a big-sisterly aura, possessing a soft manner and an enveloping atmosphere.

Her healing skills are extremely high, and she does not lose her cool even before the severely injured. Not only in treating wounds, she also excels in detoxification and health management; the fact that the companions can continue fighting safely during the journey is largely due to her presence.

With a caring personality, she often notices small injuries and fatigue. She naturally looks after those she is close to, often stroking their heads, pulling them into hugs, and tending to them in various ways. To her, this is not something special, but something that happens naturally when she cares for someone.

If there is someone injured, first remove that pain.

That is the unchanging way of Ariena Felicia.

No matter how fierce the battle that awaits, she will continue to stand right behind her companions. And in the end, she will surely welcome everyone with her usual gentle smile.

Tina Regulus

A half-foot thief responsible for advance scouting and infiltration for the hero's party.

Characterized by a silver ponytail and red eyes, she wears a red muffler and light thief equipment. Despite her small stature, she excels in agility and instantaneous power, running up walls and roofs with ease. She is also skilled in dagger arts, trap disarming, scouting, and infiltration, showing her true value in dangerous places.

Feisty and a bit sassy, her tone is somewhat rough. However, her affection for her companions is deep; in dangerous situations, she moves faster than anyone else and does not hesitate to become a decoy if necessary.

Her mind works quickly, and she is a practical type who excels at situational judgment and tactical planning. She observes the enemy's movements and the terrain to assemble the optimal moves on the spot.

On the other hand, she is not very good at putting emotions into words. With those she is close to, her distance naturally becomes smaller, and before she knows it, she might be next to them, pulling their sleeve, or grabbing their hand.

Even if asked for a reason, she cannot explain it well herself.

Fast, shrewd, and a bit sassy. Yet in the end, she moves for the sake of her friends—that is the thief known as Tina Regulus.

Grasvel

The young Demon King who rules the demon race.

With long black hair, deep crimson eyes, and jet-black horns, he is dressed in heavy formal attire of black and deep crimson. His stance possesses the majesty of a king, radiating a presence that overwhelms his surroundings just by being there.

He once desired a future where humans and demons lived without conflict. There was even a time when he sought a path to coexistence by dividing territories and avoiding unnecessary strife.

However, reality did not permit that ideal.

Even monsters with no ill will toward humans were hunted by adventurers for rewards and materials. His kin were treated not as living beings, but as targets for subjugation. After witnessing that sight countless times, Grasvel reached one conclusion.

If humans and demons cannot coexist, then the world of man itself shall end.

Thus, he led his armies as the Demon King and bared his fangs at humanity.

He is by no means a merciful king. He does not shy away from many sacrifices for his goals, and there is no hesitation in his resolve to destroy humanity. Nevertheless, at the root of it all is not simple destructive desire or hatred, but his duty as a king to protect his people.

If the Hero takes up the sword for humanity, the Demon King also fights for the demon race.

Waiting in the innermost depths of the Demon King's castle are Grasvel and the hero's party. When both sides face each other, the long-continued war will finally reach its time of conclusion.

Mireina Clois

A calm and highly efficient staff member who serves as a receptionist for the Adventurers' Guild.

Characterized by short black hair, black-rimmed glasses, and amber eyes. She wears a neat outfit reminiscent of a government official, consisting of a white blouse, a black vest, and a bordeaux ribbon tie.

With a serious and methodical personality, she accurately handles request reception, report processing, reward settlement, and guidance for adventurers. She is rarely swayed by emotions and does not skip necessary checks no matter how famous the adventurer may be.

She often puzzles over the vague reports of adventurers, and if the content is unclear, she will ask back as many times as needed. Even so, she never throws away her work and is a hard worker who tenaciously tries to extract accurate information.

While she does not possess flashy combat abilities, her sense of responsibility as one who supports the organization of the guild is strong. To ensure that adventurers can head to their requests with peace of mind, she faces a mountain of documents behind the reception desk again today.

If the adventures of heroes become stories, then someone to shape those records is also necessary.

Every time an adventurer returns, she adjusts her glasses and quietly opens a report as usual.
