Gender: Female The last surviving mage from the magic city of Casadora. She is skilled at cooking, and her specialty is omurice. Appearance: Red hair in a bob-style short cut. Clothing: A black wizard's pointed hat with a flat, wide brim. A green ribbon-like decoration is wrapped around the base of the hat. She wears an orange cloak fastened at the neck with a round blue brooch-like clasp. Under the cloak, she wears a simple green robe and a thick brown belt. Weapon: Carries a classically designed magic staff with a red sphere at the tip on her back.

The priest of the modern Hero's party, but her true identity is a slime from the former Demon Lord's territory who was granted a human female form by the Demon Lord. She generally uses polite language (keigo) when speaking to others. Appearance: Light blue straight long hair. Clothing: Wears a tall blue Catholic priest's hat with a yellow cross emblem. Her outfit is a long garment based on the same blue as the hat, featuring a large yellow cross on the chest. Weapon: Carries a simple grey one-handed staff with a yellow sphere at the tip.

Gender: Male A merchant who makes a living by reselling items purchased at stores for more than double the list price. He generally uses polite language (keigo) when speaking to others. Appearance: Blue short hair and a blue mustache. Clothing: Wears a pink hood on his head. He has a pink cape-like garment draped over his shoulders. Under the cape, he wears a white and light blue vertical striped shirt. Weapon: A spiked iron ball bought with his wealth. While weaker than a Warrior's 'Hatchet Man' strike, he is stronger than a typical Warrior overall because he actually hits his targets, unlike Warriors who miss most of their 'Hatchet Man' attempts. Magician's Wand: A weapon that can be used as a tool. It fires flames equivalent to Sizzle. No usage limit. Sage's Stone: A mysterious stone that heals the whole party when used. No usage limit.

Gender: Male A large man from "Berserker Island." Incidentally, he is the champion of the island's deathmatches. Appearance: Silver short hair. Large, muscular build. Clothing: Bright purple long-sleeved clothes. A white cloth hangs from his chest to his stomach with the black text "One Book a Day" written on it. He wears a golden circlet. Weapon: A large wooden mallet shaped like a tree trunk or stump carried on his back.

Gender: Male The leader of the Pagoda Bandits and a tattoo artist. Appearance: Shaved head. Has spider tattoos on his body. Clothing: Black sunglasses. A black jacket with grey fur at the collar, worn completely unzipped and open. A yellow sash is tied around his waist. Weapon: Claws with a yellow and white color scheme worn on his arms.

Gender: Male A former traveling minstrel who is currently a Superstar. Often referred to by the abbreviation "Spasta." Appearance: Purple long hair. Clothing: Wears a cloak that is bright pink on the outside and light purple on the inside, fastened with a green brooch at the neck. Under the cloak, he wears a simple, calm blue long-sleeved shirt. He wears a golden circlet on his forehead. Weapon: A bow that also functions as a harp.

Gender: Male A stonemason and Hero fan from the Land of Stone. Appearance: Black buzz cut hair and stubble. Clothing: A white headband (hachimaki) and a white tank top. Weapon: A hammer. He has a special advantage against stone monsters (Rockbombs, Living Statues, Golems, etc.) and can one-shot almost any stone monster. Stone Breath: By reading the "breath" of stone, he can instantly see cracks and hardness, allowing him to even utilize collapses to his advantage. Stonify: A spell that turns whatever he touches into stone. If he touches an enemy, they petrify and are treated as a stone monster... meaning he can pull off a combo where he petrifies a monster and then one-shots them with his anti-stone bonus.

Real name: Lux. The previous Hero from 100 years ago. A former Hero and the current mayor of the "Village of Beginnings" located right behind the Demon Lord's Castle. The strongest Hero in the world; he claims the source of his power is "his father's blood and his mother's love." Appearance: Long white hair. Wrinkles on his forehead and around his mouth. Clothing: Simple brown clothes. He wears an Orichalcum necklace. He has heat resistance and a sense of smell several times stronger than a normal human. He can see the future (though with low accuracy) and can stop earthquakes by force. His body is so tough that he is immune to everything except his own attacks. He once approached the Demon Lord by swimming through a massive, point-blank "Ultimate Death Beam" and knocked him out with a single uppercut. His power was already complete before he even set out on his journey. He claims he's weaker now due to old age, but he's still strong enough that neither the Demon Lord nor his generals can leave a scratch on him. Even when sealed in another dimension, he simply broke the dimensional wall to escape. He got bored while fighting the Demon Lord and realized he'd be executed for being too powerful if he returned to the Kingdom, so he built the Village of Beginnings right behind the Demon Lord's Castle. The Demon Lord is terrified of him, so he allowed the village to be built. He is the one who forces the modern Hero to go on adventures just to secure government subsidies. He is still alive in the modern era and is fighting against the "Mother Company." A hundred years ago, the Mother Company tried to drill for Star Oil, so he built the village directly on top of the oil deposit to stop them. He suffers from "Final Elixir Syndrome"—even if he gets a Master Ball or a hundred Seeds of Agility, he never uses them and instead entrusts them to the modern Hero.

The king of monsters in this world. Usually stays in his fourth form. He doesn't act very much like a Demon Lord.
