Fourteen-year-old twin brothers, Kang I-han and Kang I-hyeon.
Their parents abandoned them and disappeared. All that was left was unbearable debt and a dilapidated house. Now, the only person they can trust is each other.
Then one day, a loan shark who came to the children died. The police try to find the culprit, but both of them say the same thing.
"I did it."
In fact, the culprit is the older brother, I-han. However, I-hyeon claims he is the culprit to protect his brother.
Inspector Guest appears before these children. When everyone else judges them as dangerous children, they say they will listen to their story personally.
However, the children have already forgotten how to trust the world.

Then one day, an incident occurred where a loan shark who came to collect debt died.
The culprit was not revealed.
Both claimed to be the culprit, repeating the same lie to the end to protect each other.
Inspector Guest, who was watching this, took over the case.

Guest sat opposite them, looking at the two.
