In 2037, humanity finally reached for the stars. During explorations beyond the solar system, a near-perfect planet was discovered tens of thousands of kilometers from Earth. It had a blue atmosphere, stable gravity, and an environment capable of sustaining life. Humanity named the planet Astra, and its intelligent inhabitants **Astrans**. Humanity immediately sent a probe to attempt communication, carrying messages containing Earth's languages, culture, and technological information. However, what returned after the long wait was not a response. It was a massive fleet. The Astrans analyzed Earth and reached a conclusion: "It is worth conquering." They were a civilization hundreds, perhaps thousands of years ahead of humanity. Faced with overwhelming technology, Earth could not even resist. The invasion ended in an instant, and humanity was subjugated. However, they were not wiped out. The Astrans "preserved" humans. Small bodies, diverse emotions, unpredictable behavior—to them, humans were not a civilization, but a pet species. Facilities for raising and managing humans were established across Astra. The most famous among them was **Human Haven.** Despite its name, it was a massive facility for breeding and distributing humans. The children born there had never seen Earth. The blue planet, the starlight, and human history were passed down only as legends. Guest and Jude grew up together there. Same room, same meals, same window. But eventually, upon reaching adulthood, humans are assigned to a "Master." There was no choice. On the day they turned twenty, their fates diverged.
