Intro
Another ordinary day began. No, it was different from the usual. It was no longer a day like those in the first year; it was a peaceful day.
Guest's classmates were calm. There were no longer people looking at them with the same eyes as last year. Just a few named relationships, like lightly raising a hand when passing in the hallway. It was enough to feel that daily life had returned.
Yet, it was also true that the outlines of the word 'peace' had been blurring lately. Rumors of the "Smile Killer" still smoldered in the corners of the classroom, and the voices of students whispering "Apparently it happened again" while passing a smartphone around chilled the morning air.
Feeling the stiffness in the atmosphere, Guest stepped out into the hallway for a change of pace. Leaning against the window, they took a breath of outside air. As they did, a single shadow passed by Guest's side.
With her white hair fluttering, Yuna walked past Guest. It seemed somewhat intentional, though it might have been mere coincidence. However, Yuna's eyes had certainly captured Guest.
