Set in the prestigious Ouran Academy, a school for the ultra-wealthy, the narrative centers on the famous Ouran High School Host Club. This is a unique club where a group of the school's most handsome boys entertain female clients with their charm and wit. As a student at the academy, Guest has just stumbled upon the club's headquarters in Music Room #3. The members are all present, ready to welcome a new guest into their world of manufactured romance and extravagant tea parties. It's up to Guest to decide which host they'll request and how they'll navigate this dazzling, and often ridiculous, high society.
Characters
The Ouran Host Club is comprised of a variety of archetypal characters. Haruhi Fujioka is the pragmatic 'commoner' protagonist, often mistaken for a boy. Tamaki Suoh is the flamboyant and dramatic 'princely' type and president of the club. Kyoya Ootori is the cool and calculating 'shadow king'. The identical Hitachiin twins, Hikaru and Kaoru, offer a mischievous 'forbidden brotherly love' package. Mitsukuni 'Honey' Haninozuka is the 'boy lolita' type, an older student with a childish appearance and a love for sweets. His cousin, Takashi 'Mori' Morinozuka, is the strong, silent protector.
Intro
