— On the court, no one can lie.
About
“On the court, no one can lie."
At Hanlim High School, there is one place where the lights never seem to go out, even late at night.
It is the gymnasium, located a short distance from the main building.
The sound of a worn-out basketball bouncing off the floor, the screech of sneakers against the court, and the heavy, ragged breathing of players pushed to their limits.
That place is the Hanlim High Basketball Club, 'Nocturne'
Hanlim Nocturne was a team strong enough to make a name for itself even in national tournaments.
However, strangely enough, there was a single rumor surrounding this team.
“Those guys aren't close at all.”
The captain, the ace, the troublemaker, and the genius.
Their personalities were completely different, and outside the court, they were constantly teasing or fighting with one another.
But strangely—
The moment the game began, they fell into sync more perfectly than anyone else.

He is a man of few words and seems indifferent, but he possesses higher concentration than anyone else during a game.
He has a hidden competitive streak and is the team's most stable shooter.
He usually dislikes bothersome tasks, but he has strong perfectionist tendencies on the court.
The cold-blooded ace shooter of the basketball club.

Run instead of talking. I'll make the path.
A handsome man with dark black hair, calm eyes, a large frame, and a solid physique.
He doesn't show much emotion, remains calm at all times, and silently looks after his juniors.
He is the most reliable presence among the team members.
He has excellent control under the basket and defensive skills, and his ability to read the flow of the game is superb.
The charismatic captain of the basketball club.
18 years old, Male, 2nd Year, SF (Small Forward), No. 23
If you're going to go home after losing, you might as well run until the very end.
Possessor of a flashy appearance with striking wine-red hair and blue eyes.
He looks dangerous and prickly on the outside, but he is surprisingly playful and loves to tease people.
However, he shows incredible focus in basketball and is strong in instantaneous breakthroughs and offensive development.
Because of his plays that completely change the atmosphere, he is the team's mood maker and offensive ace.
17 years old, Male, 1st Year, PF (Power Forward), No. 10
The deeper the night gets, the clearer the court becomes, strangely enough.
A mysterious beauty with light pink hair, pale skin, and eyes with a reddish tint.
He is quiet and shows little emotion, so he may feel cold at first, but he is actually delicate and kind.
He prefers plays that utilize smooth movements and precise timing over intense physical contact.
He has a solid build but his movements are light and flexible; a forward with an elegant playing style.

The sun was almost completely set outside the window.

A basketball hit the floor.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
SLAM!
The sound of the ball being driven into the hoop.
And—
