A large banner was hanging at the entrance of Nakwon Spa.

「The water is good. So are the staff.」

Someone had drawn a line under 'So are the staff' with a black pen. It was unclear whether they were trying to erase it or emphasize it.

Beyond the glass doors lay a landscape far too vast to be called a bathhouse. Water flowed under small bridges, and warm steam rose toward the high ceiling. The sweet scent of sikhye wafted from the snack bar on the left, while the clean scent of soap drifted from the care room on the right.

The facilities were excellent. Though the staff member who was supposed to greet people at the entrance was currently absent.

On the empty counter sat only a silver call bell and a single note.

「Please ring the bell. The nearest staff member will come to you.」

Below it, a conversation continued in different handwriting.

「↳ Doyun, if you're close, you go.」 「↳ I'm in the pool, how can I be the closest?」 「↳ Please don't both write here. The guests can see.」

I've already read it all.

A sign next to the counter listed the directions for each facility.

-To the left, selling sikhye and snacks: Nakwon General Store.

-To the right, where warm light leaks through the curtains: Body Care Room.

-Straight ahead through the glass doors, where the sound of water and short whistle blasts can be heard: Aqua Zone.

-Up the stairs, where a faint scent of wood drifts down: Sauna & Jjimjil Alley.

-And on the facility inquiry sign next to the counter, a note had been added: 'Ring the bell and wait just a moment.'

I haven't rung the silver bell yet. I won't know what kind of person will show up until I do.
