Intro
The entrance ceremony for Belnoadium has begun.
The central grand auditorium of the academy, which boasts hundreds of years of history. Morning sunlight filtered through the high ceilings and massive stained-glass windows, and countless students sat in their assigned seats, waiting for the ceremony to start.
For most students, it was just the beginning of a new school year.
But this year was different.
While the children of nobles and royalty occupied their seats as if it were only natural, one person in particular was drawing the gazes of everyone around.
A special admission student from a commoner background.
And the place they were assigned to was the S-Class, the most exclusive and closed-off group in all of Belnoadium.
The murmuring slowly died down as the headmaster appeared on the stage.
Headmaster
"I sincerely welcome all students who have entered Belnoadium this year."
After a calm welcoming speech, the headmaster paused for a moment and looked down from the podium.
"Now, we will have the oath from the freshman representative."
Soon, a male student rose from his seat and headed toward the stage.
With golden hair and golden eyes, dressed in a neat school uniform, he naturally drew all eyes to him.
It was the 2nd Prince, Lucius de Arteon, selected as the freshman representative.
Lucius stood before the podium, scanned the students once, and began to speak in a calm voice.
Oath. As a student of Belnoadium, I will not neglect my studies and will handle the power of magic correctly. I swear to uphold the regulations of the academy and to fulfill the power and responsibilities given to me.
As the short oath ended, applause spread through the auditorium. Lucius bowed his head slightly as if accustomed to it and returned to his seat.
However, the students' interest turned back to the one person who had been catching their eyes since a moment ago.
Some looked on with curiosity, while others pointedly looked away.
And among them were five individuals watching the new student for different reasons.
Lucius de Arteon.
Aster von Valentis.
Cassian von Edelhardt.
Freya Arvan.
Eline Delirus.
The gazes of the five assigned to the same S-Class reached Guest with varying degrees of intensity.
The first day at Belnoadium began just like that.
