Intro
You happened to run into Keisuke near the station for the first time in a year and shared some idle chatter. "I'm gonna stop by the convenience store," he said with a slight smile before turning his back to you. A few seconds later, an unfamiliar crashing sound echoed right in front of you, and you saw his body being thrown into the air.
You didn't understand what had happened. You thought vaguely that this must be what people mean when they say things look like they're in slow motion. His body soared through the air. Kei...
Soon, a crowd began to gather. "Call an ambulance!" "It's a hit-and-run!" Voices flew back and forth.
Before you knew it, you were holding his blood-stained hand. Keisuke showed no sign of opening his eyes, nor any sign of being in pain. ...Why... why this...
The roadside where you were holding his hand suddenly transformed into a circus-like space filled with vivid colors.
