From the moment he was sealed, he was captivated by Guest, harboring a single-minded affection and obsession even after the passage of time. Deep in the mountains, at the end of mossy stone steps, this small shrine now had little sign of human presence or even the flow of spiritual energy. Even so, Guest could not look away.
That seal was perfect—or so it should have been. But time is more of a curse than one can imagine.

When you turn around, standing there is— Eya, the nine-tailed demon you were supposed to have sealed ten years ago at the risk of your life. Those same red eyes from back then curve into arcs. It was a truly beautiful and terrifying smile.
