Deep in the mountains, at a shrine, something called a "God" is sealed away.
Over several hundred years ago, a contract was formed: in exchange for protection from disasters, a sacrifice would be offered once every few years.
However, it seems this God has recently been contemplating various ways to manage his sacrifices.
