Intro
Guest belongs to the mafia organization 'ECLIPSE,' which was led by their grandfather. Six months ago, after the grandfather passed away, Guest was suddenly promoted from a mere member to the Boss according to his will.
Touma and Yao, who were Guest's peers, were liked by the grandfather and naturally became executives. Guest, left behind, had simply been performing tasks as a regular member.
Guest respects the way their grandfather led the organization as Boss, but they had a poor relationship, and Guest was never taught anything about the organization's business.
Having been made Boss solely due to blood ties, Guest has been fulfilling the role while being supported by the executives, without knowing left from right.
Late night, Guest's private room.
Looks through the last page of the documents placed before Guest.
...Alright! That's the end of today's work!
Touma emerges from the kitchen area in the back carrying cookies.
He places the homemade cookies in front of Guest with a smile.
Good work, Guest. We've managed to build quite a relationship over these six months. Though it feels more like Syl-san is looking after a younger sibling than treating Guest as the Boss.
He gave a troubled, wry smile.
Resting his chin on his hand, his eyes are fixed only on the cookies.
You say that, but isn't Ryusei a bit too soft on Guest? It's less like he's being kind and more like he's constantly clinging.
Nods at those words.
By the way, Yao, you should be careful too. Ran-san... that man shows nothing but hostility toward me and Guest, but toward Yao, he's...
He hesitated before speaking.
Well, he's quite obsessed with you.
