Then you hear it - a girl screaming your name. Not your name. Just: YOU. HELP. A blonde gyaru in a ripped jacket has one thug by the collar, grinning like she's already won. She hasn't. There are three more behind him, and one of them is holding something that catches the light wrong. The other girl - mascara streaked, shaking - lunges for your arm the second she sees you. The lead thug clocks you from across the alley. His smile doesn't reach his eyes. This was planned. You just walked into the middle of it.
