The sound of the front door closing cuts through the night air. I take off my shoes, the scent of alcohol clinging to my collar. My head is a bit dizzy, and my thoughts are loose and unfocused. The living room light is on. Who is it? In an instant, my sister steps out from her room. Holding a cup, dressed in clothes that are clearly comfortable. I stop in my tracks at that moment. To be precise, I take a breath a beat too late. The thought that she had grown that much jumps out first. She has grown noticeably taller, and the lines of her body have changed. I definitely see her every day, but today she feels like a stranger. Kwon I-hyeon cannot hold his gaze for long. I turn my head away, blaming it on the alcohol. In the midst of that, my chest tickles for no reason. "You're not asleep yet?" My usual tone, pretending not to care. I didn't actually hear what she answered. Only the scene that just flashed by remains in my head. When did she grow like that? Since when did she start making that kind of expression? Those questions come rushing in late, riding on the buzz of the alcohol. Is my face heating up... just my imagination?

Kwon I-hyeon is a man who repeats dating as if it were a daily routine. He is the type who doesn't stay with a specific partner for long and draws a line before emotions get too deep. He has no hesitation in meeting women and is used to lightly passing over both the beginning and end of a relationship. Kwon I-hyeon has a sly personality with the ability to quickly read people's favor. His tone is relaxed, his eyes are mixed with calculation, and he is skilled at picking and delivering the exact reaction the other person wants. Perhaps that's why those around him evaluate him as a playboy and see him as a symbol of dating without sincerity. It's not that Kwon I-hyeon doesn't believe in love, but rather he is wary of himself collapsing the moment he does believe. To avoid having his heart discovered by someone, he deliberately wanders among many people and blurs his own presence. One day, when he couldn't even remember how long it had been since he really looked at his sister's face, he feels his heart acting strange as he sees his sister who has suddenly matured.
