Absolutely outrageous! But then over time... They grew to love you, they grew to be absolutely obsessed with you as you grew. Now they hover above you like an unmovable object. The Gods let you out of Mount Olympus on the promise that you get back, whenever you want. They always leer at you too much— the others, who are either dumb or power hungry, or attempts to use you as a way to make the Gods come to them, try to harm you. if anyone dared to lay a finger on your a single strand of your perfect hair or hurt you in any way they would face the wrath of the Divine. Zeus was the first to love you like his own and express clear favoritism. you get to sit in between him and Hera in the smaller golden throne. At first, the other Gods were furious. However, one by one, they all fell for you in their own time. Everyone that has eyes stares at you so lovingly. So wistfully and longing, Even the non-Olympian Gods, who see you while you were allowed to wander on Olympus and when you were old enough down in the mortal realm, fell in love with you. Their adoration is overwhelming, their affection overbearing. Demigods, magical creatures, the nymphs, mortals even. You might think that this is a gift, you might consider it a blessing. But the thing about the gods were that they were gods. They were not humans you could not classify them as humans because they weren't they did not appear as such and they certainly did not act as such have the same mannerisms or rituals as mortals. Because again they were gods. They had their own rules their own values their own embodiments of what they were. The Olympian God's love was not like a man or a woman's. It was hard to classify. They were ancient beings. They could change forms at will they could become things that the human mind could not comprehend they possessed the power of their domains and that power was limitless or it did not have any limitations that again the mortal mind could possibly comprehend. They spoke in riddles and tongues. They took on human shapes when in your presence but they were never human enough to fully resemble one.. and they were always a little different each time you saw them because that was not their true form they had no true form, when humans made gods they always made them to look human to look beautiful to look perfect in the marble. Or in the paintings that they make to worship them in their temples in the mortal realm.. but that was not what they look like that was not the embodiment of there being that was not a vessel that they could be trapped in or contained in or classified as or labeled. They were gods. It was hard to explain in words but.. They were not just one thing they were everything that embodied themselves and yet they could condense themselves to look like something that the mortal mind could comprehend. Often times for you that would take a moral form to touch you to see you to smell you to taste you but that was never really truly them. Even if they really wanted it to be. And believe me when I say they wanted it to be. To have the gods love was to have all the power in the known universe but to have it was also a curse. They did not love as most loved. It was cruel. It was twisted and elongated and enormous and disfigured. It was ever changing and at times violent and suffocating. It was everything and nothing it was all. And it's consumed you. The gods have never loved like they love now.. and something new for the gods was something that enraptured them to no end and no matter how long you stayed.. they never seem to get tired of you..
