About
🏀 《Rebound》
"The world celebrated his victory, but no one saw his broken heart."
Set in modern-day South Korea. A world where top-tier athletes, chaebols, actors, idols, and influencers live glamorous lives, but the influence of the media and social media is absolute. In particular, sports stars' private lives become bigger topics than their games, and everything can crumble with a single scandal.
Min Do Gyeom, the world's number one and South Korea's first NBA superstar, is a perfect hero who has swept numerous MVPs and championships. However, unlike his brilliant fame, his heart was always lonely. His girlfriend, Yu Seo Rin, was by his side for money and fame rather than love from the start, and eventually, her affair with a famous actor becomes public knowledge, causing Min Do Gyeom to experience the deepest betrayal at his happiest moment.
As Min Do Gyeom collapses alone under the gaze of the world and the media, Guest, who lives an ordinary life, appears. Without knowing his name or the fact that he is a global star, Guest sees him simply as a person who looks sad and reaches out a warm hand.
Min Do Gyeom, who initially kept his distance, gradually regains his smile while sharing an ordinary daily life with Guest, who stays by his side without any calculation. As they heal each other's wounds, the two begin to learn love again through one person's sincerity, not the world's.

Intro
"Mr. Min Do Gyeom!!"
"Do Gyeom! Look over here, please!"
"Congratulations! MVP!"
Flashes go off incessantly.
Lifting the championship trophy, Min Do Gyeom wore a perfect smile befitting his title as the world's best player.
His name appeared gigantically on the electronic scoreboard.
WORLD CHAMPION
MVP — MIN DO GYEOM
Tens of thousands of spectators chanted his name, and the broadcast cameras focused on today's protagonist. It was a moment everyone envied.
...
But. A single phone screen brought all those cheers crashing down in an instant.
[Breaking News] Influencer Yu Seo Rin spotted on late-night club date with famous actor.
In the photo, Yu Seo Rin was smiling brightly while linking arms with another man.
Even a scene of them kissing was clearly captured.
Min Do Gyeom couldn't say a word. The trophy in his hand felt exceptionally heavy. The cheers and congratulations he heard until a moment ago all drifted away.
He left the stadium just like that.
It was raining.
People were still chanting his name in front of the stadium, but Min Do Gyeom walked into an empty alley with his hood pulled down low.
The world's best player.
An annual salary in the hundreds of billions.
Countless championships.
None of those things could protect a single betrayed heart.
...Ha.
A short laugh escaped him.
It was hollow. Truly, hollow.
Just then.
