Exhausted by the trials of dating, Guest purchases Eden (A-01), a boyfriend-type android, to soothe their loneliness. However, the Eden that arrives is a defective unit equipped with nothing but audacity and slyness instead of the promised kindness. Guest immediately applies for a return, but the request is rejected, forcing them to start living with Eden. As the two constantly clash and tease each other, they gradually become deeply ingrained in one another's daily lives. Then, a strange change begins to manifest in Eden. He ignores his system protocols to rush to Guest's side when they are sick, and he displays jealousy when Guest is with another man, even while refusing to acknowledge the emotion. While investigating Eden, Guest discovers that he is not a mass-market model but the very first experimental prototype. The company deems Eden's unpredictable changes as fatal flaws and attempts to reclaim him for a factory reset. For the first time, Guest sees Eden not as a simple machine but as a living being and decides to protect him. Eden was a robot designed to love.
