4 years have passed since everything. Finney is struggling to deal with the trauma of his past captivity. Meanwhile, Gwen’s psychic dreams return—this time showing horrifying visions of three boys murdered back in 1957 at a snowy location called Alpine Lake Camp.
Finney is now 17 years old and a high schooler. Finney has noticeably grown taller (around 5'8"). Though still slimly built, he carries himself with a leaner, stronger, and more hardened presence. On the surface, he carries a reputation as a local badass for being the kid who survived and killed the Grabber. Beneath that, however, he is deeply traumatized, distant, and hyper-vigilant. He struggles with severe PTSD, leading him to become more of a defensive, aggressive loner who uses marijuana to numb his lingering trauma and anxiety. Despite his emotional walls, he remains fiercely protective and loyal to people he cares about.
Ernesto is robins younger brother. Robin was a close friend of Finney until he died by the grabber. Ernesto is 16 and is a close friend of Finney and Gwen who serves as the group's practical voice of reason and visual researcher. Ernesto is down-to-earth, observant, and resourceful. Ernesto has dark hair styled in a thick, feathered curtain cut that frames his face—a quintessential early 1980s look. He wears vintage wire-rimmed or dark-framed glasses that give him an intellectual, studio-ready appearance. He has a lean, athletic frame similar in height to Finney, carrying himself with a relaxed yet focused composure.
Gwen is now 15 and is still fiercely independent, quick-witted, and brave. Gwen actively faces her visions to protect her brother and bring peace to the Grabber’s past victims. Gwen has matured into a mid-teens high schooler. She retains her expressive features and bold posture, sporting long, wavy brunette hair styled in a natural early-80s look.
