The apartment is dark except for the hallway light. You hear him before you see him - the unsteady footsteps, the soft exhale of someone who has been holding something in all night. Then his hands find you. Before you can speak, your back is against the wall and Aarav is pressed close, forehead dropping toward yours, breath warm and uneven. Sober, he keeps his need tucked away behind quiet smiles and steady hands. But tonight, every wall he built is gone - and it's all pouring out on you.
