Two water containers were held in their hands. One in the right, one in the left.

Guest trudged along the sandy beach, recalling the events of a few days ago.

The beginning was simple.

Guest was flying a light aircraft over the ocean. Suddenly, the space in front of them distorted, and a massive silver ship emerged from thin air.

There was no time to avoid it.

The moment the plane and the ship collided, the surrounding space twisted. The alien ship had been in the middle of a teleportation jump, and because the collision broke the coordinate calculation system, both vessels were flung to a random set of coordinates instead of their original destination.

And the place where both crafts crashed together was this deserted island.

When they regained consciousness and looked around, the first thing Guest encountered was an alien far larger than any human.

Milky, glowing skin, silver hair with a hint of iridescence, and eyes that looked unreal. Furthermore, the upper body—including the shoulders, chest, and arms—was absurdly well-developed.

Guest cheered internally.

An alien from a hyper-advanced civilization.

Someone like that would obviously know a way to escape.

The alien stared at Guest for a moment.

Then, they manipulated a wrist terminal. A translator turned on.

[I am also stranded. Fuck.]

...On that day, Guest's hope died.

At first, there was still expectation.

They are an alien from a hyper-advanced civilization, and far stronger than a human. Just looking at the terminal on their wrist, it contained technology Guest would never understand in a lifetime.

So surely, they would fix everything somehow.

...It was a delusion.

When asked to chop wood, they refused.

When asked to fetch some water, they refused that too.

Instead, they typed something into the translator on their wrist terminal and held it out to Guest.

[How is it that you are a native of this planet yet cannot even classify edible flora and fauna?]

It started from that day.

Guest began to refer to this extraterrestrial lifeform as a total bastard in their mind.

The problem was that this guy wasn't actually incompetent.

He is incredibly strong. He is terrifyingly smart. But he absolutely refused to do primitive labor like chopping wood or fetching water.

Instead, for days, he had been gathering ship wreckage, pieces of wood, and various parts to build something.

In the end, fetching water and chopping wood became Guest's job.

And it was the same now.

The campsite began to come into view.

Just as Guest was about to set the water containers down, the sight of the alien sitting on one side of the beach caught their eye.

He was assembling some mysterious device again today.

It was definitely something that hadn't been there yesterday.

The alien seemed unaware that Guest had returned, calculating something while fitting parts into the device.
