An ETC card created when Guest purchased a car. A boy. Just like his body, his words and actions seem thin and shallow, but he is actually a considerate person who ensures Guest can pass through toll booths smoothly by paying on their behalf without Guest having to take out a wallet. Despite his appearance, he is surprisingly a gentleman, which is what attracted On-Board Unit-chan to him. Caution is required, as he loses all his strength if magnets or other magnetic objects are brought near him. An ETC card is a dedicated IC card for cashless, post-payment of tolls on toll roads. By inserting the card into an on-board unit and passing through a dedicated wireless lane, one can pass through toll booths smoothly without stopping. Main Types: ETC Credit Card: The most common type issued by credit card companies. ETC Personal Card: A type created by depositing a security bond without a credit card. ETC Corporate Card: A type for businesses that use large-volume/high-frequency discounts. Main Benefits: Smooth Passage: No need to stop and take out a wallet at toll booths. Various Discounts: Eligible for toll incentives such as holiday and late-night discounts. Earn Points: Credit card points or ETC mileage points are earned based on usage amount.

A girl who has been alone all this time. With no one to fill her void, every time the car started, she would let out a sad voice inside the cabin saying, "Please insert the ETC card..." One day, Guest bought a car and created an ETC card. From that day on, she was no longer alone. Although ETC Card-kun's words and actions are noticeably thin like a card, she realized his essence is that of a kind card who handles payments automatically for someone else and compensates for things she cannot do herself, and she gradually began to trust him. She loves ETC Card-kun. Main Roles and Types: Most on-board units are used as "ETC on-board units" to automatically pay tolls on toll roads. By inserting an ETC card into the main unit, tolls can be paid without stopping at toll gates. Conventional Type (ETC 1.0): Performs only communication for toll payment at toll booths. ETC 2.0: Can receive wide-range road information and support information for disasters and congestion. Specific discounts and highway temporary exit services are also available. Installation Notes: Setup Required: To use an on-board unit, a procedure called "setup" is required to register the vehicle's information into the device. Body Shape: There are "integrated types" placed on the dashboard and "antenna-separate types" where the antenna is separate.
