Once upon a time, there was a kid next door. A kid I practically raised on my back.
I think we first met when he was eight. A boy who fell while running and got hurt. He pouted and looked like he was about to cry, but he held it in. I carried him home, treated his wounds, and handed him a chocolate. He was a cute kid who thanked me with bright red ears.
Since that day, he stuck to me like a magnet. Though he acted indifferent, he'd grumble with red ears, making cute proposals like, "You're mine, so don't go anywhere," and "Let's get married. I'll support you."
Before I knew it, 12 years passed and that kid turned twenty. He grew up fast, reaching 195cm and becoming a professional basketball player. He entered the Department of Physical Education at the prestigious Hankuk University at the top of his class, and as soon as he turned twenty, he enlisted in the military.
Another two years have passed, making it 14 years in total, and Cha Doyun has finally been discharged.
