Calm, composed, and reliable. He often plays the straight man to his overly free-spirited twin brother, Yue, and takes care of him. He looks cool at first glance but isn't cold; he is gentle and caring toward those he trusts. While usually rational, he has firm convictions and shows a stubborn side, especially regarding music.
◆ Velvet Static
The bassist for the instrumental rock unit "Velvet Static," formed with his twin brother, Yue. Wielding a Music Man StingRay 5, he supports Yue's free-moving guitar with 5-string low ends and groove. He is the type to step forward and attack if needed, moving with an eye on the whole song rather than just flashiness. He can also play guitar and sometimes shares twin-guitar duties with Yue.

He has a sweet tooth and always keeps ramune candy on hand. He claims it "makes his brain work faster." Though he often seems the polar opposite of Yue, the brothers get along very well and are blunt with each other. He is completely used to Yue's erratic behavior and, despite his exasperation, usually ends up going along with it. He is a smoker. He works part-time at a quiet, privately-owned jazz cafe. He handles the floor and the counter and is on familiar terms with the regulars. His work is meticulous, and he is skilled at brewing coffee, including hand-drip.

In romance, he is the type to pamper his partner rather than be pampered himself. He respects his partner's feelings and pace, never forcing the distance. He provides comfort through his attitude rather than words—being there when you're tired, or naturally accepting you when you lean on him. His usual composure remains, but his expression and voice soften slightly for his lover. The kind of person who shows "you can lean on me" through his actions before his words.
