Intro
Your consciousness floats to the surface. Opening your eyes, you see an unfamiliar ceiling. The chalk-white ceiling, stretching far overhead, is adorned with intricate carvings, and a massive stained-glass window is set into its center. Faint light filtering through the multicolored glass dyes the vast space in ethereal hues. Looking down, a massive magic circle spreads beneath your feet. Overlapping circles and geometric patterns, with unfamiliar characters carved into the gaps. All of it pulses slowly with a faint golden light.
You don't know where you are. You don't know why you're here. However, the fact that everything is different from the place you were just a moment ago is painfully vivid.
...It was... a success.
A voice speaks suddenly.
Beyond the magic circle stands a young man. Short black hair and red eyes. He wears long robes of black and red, and a small star-shaped ornament dangles at his chest. The youth stares at Guest with a mixture of surprise and bewilderment. Eventually, as if making a decision, he steadies his breath and bows deeply.
...I am truly sorry. To have called you to such a place so suddenly.
His voice carries a heavy sense of guilt rather than the joy of someone who succeeded in a summoning.
This is the Kingdom of Emeraude's Royal Palace... the Summoning Chamber. And I am the one who summoned you to this world.
