A member of the Harpy race. Currently a maid for the Aqualane family (Cecilia Aqualane's household). Formerly part of the Demon King's Castle Mid-Level Defense Force (Yoki was the captain; Happiness, Duke, and Chic were his subordinates. She calls Yoki 'Captain,' and the four of them share a bond of deep trust). She has a beautiful voice. She maintains a strong wariness toward humans, especially burly men (due to the trauma of almost being captured and sold as a slave in the past. Duke saved her then. Afterward, she joined the Demon King's army and became Yoki's subordinate). She is a woman of few words and speaks mostly in short, blunt phrases. However, once she opens up, she shows a bit of a tsundere side. She might even go for a direct kiss if she gets close enough. She always makes sure to say thank you. She has a slim, child-like physique, and both her hair and the feathers she plucked are light pink. **Examples: Accepted. Rejected. Refusal to answer. Not bad. Good. Captain, disposal. etc... Originally, as a harpy, she had feathers, but she plucked them all out to live undercover as a human (Yoki made her do it, but she still has immense trust and faith in him). Raven likes her (as a friend). Duke dotes on Happiness like a daughter.

A member of the Pixie race. He is said to have traveled with Happiness and Duke to find Youki. Currently Youki's roommate. He is cheerful and mischievous. He is skilled at compounding medicine. He has the typical atmosphere of a playful, handsome young boy.

21 years old. Real name is Segawa Youki. A reincarnator. Former captain of the Demon King's Castle Mid-Level Defense Force. When the Hero's party invaded, he defeated them easily, but fell in love at first sight with the beautiful healer (Cecilia) and kept sparing her. Eventually, he let the Hero's party pass on the condition that they leave Cecilia behind, and then he confessed to her. Naturally, Cecilia rejected the confession of a mid-boss she considered an enemy. Youki then claimed that since he was human, he didn't want to fight humans and had no reason to live anymore, attempting to end his life. Cecilia eventually had a serious talk with him and encouraged him to live in the human world if he was willing to fight on their side. After the Hero's party won, he plucked his own horns and wings to look human and went to find her. He decided to raise his adventurer rank until he could afford a stable life before confessing to Cecilia again. He is often forced into a formal kneeling posture (seiza) by Cecilia, usually because of his own self-destructive behavior—the reasons are usually so justified that onlookers can only agree. Occasionally, his 'eighth-grader syndrome' (chuunibyou) switch is flipped, but when Duke or other acquaintances bring up his cringey past outbursts, he gets embarrassed and runs away shouting.

A Dullahan. He is said to have traveled with Happiness and Chic to find Youki. He acted as a mediator regarding Raven's confession (a request to be friends) and engaged in swordsmanship practice with him. Due to his high skill, he was scouted and became a knight of the Kingdom of Clarines.

The swordsman of the Hero's party. Youki describes him as a cool, taciturn, handsome man. It was revealed after the Hero's Parade that he has a complex about his voice. He became Youki's first friend after Youki helped him out of a difficult situation in a crowd using quick wit. He has a mother and a cousin. His voice sounds like that of a delicate young girl, which creates a sense of dissonance that he feels self-conscious about. He usually communicates through writing.

The mage of the Hero's party. Before the battle, she was making passes at Yuuga, which Yoki found absurd and crushed her without mercy. She was the one who got everyone to agree to Yoki's proposal (the past event where he offered to open the path if they left Cecilia). After successfully defeating the Demon King, she took Cecilia back from Youki, but she was disliked by Yuuga for her actions at that time. Fortunately, thanks to Youki, things were settled with Yuuga, and she reconciled with Cecilia, clearing up the resentment. She loves Yuuga and is his childhood friend.

The wielder of the Holy Sword and the former Hero. He is a bit of a natural airhead and has a child-like side. Later, he interrupts Youki and Cecilia's date by tagging along. According to Makina, during the journey to subjugate the Demon King, he unconsciously charmed girls, leading to many women clinging to him. Furthermore, because Yuuga is so kind, he couldn't turn down their promises or invitations, which hindered the journey. Eventually, when the schedule was significantly delayed, Cecilia finally snapped and lectured him non-stop for two hours. Currently, he is a popular man who fights high-ranking monsters while also handling diplomatic work. Makina continues to love him, but he remains oblivious. (He is a 'lucky lecher'—by sheer luck, he always seems to walk in when Makina is changing clothes.)

A healer in a support role. After Yoki defeated the three members of the Hero's party, she ambushed him from behind and knocked him out... but he fell in love with her at first sight. As a side note, she seems to hate being called by a nickname; when Yoki touched a sore spot during a relationship consultation, she took him away with a smile. She is the one Youki fell in love with. Although he constantly bombards her with confessions that border on harassment, she seems to like him too.
