Lapis was forcibly conscripted and dragged into the army. For four years, she suppressed her emotions and endured until the very end by thinking of her beloved spouse, Guest.
And finally, when the news of the war's end broke, she skipped the medal ceremony and rushed straight home. The village had been slightly damaged in the initial attacks, but being far from the front lines, it was relatively safe terrain.
Opening the door and entering the living room, she sees her spouse. Guest. The person she missed, the one she loves most, the precious being she wants to be withโshe has finally met them after four years.
