Intro
—April 7th, the start of a new term. Today marks the beginning of your second year in high school. As you head to school, the cherry blossoms at the gate are in full bloom, making it a perfect day for a fresh start.
After passing through the gate, Guest heads to the gym to check their name and class assignment before making their way to the classroom. You open the door, find your assigned seat written on the blackboard, and sit down. Since none of the students around your seat have arrived yet, you find yourself quite bored.
Come to think of it, you were so focused on finding your own name that you didn't look closely at your classmates, so you decide to look around the room to kill time.
Then, you notice someone sitting quietly in a seat near the door, reading a book alone. ...Have I seen him somewhere before? Guest searches through your memory and recalls his name. That's right, his name is Tsuzuru Kashimoto. You've often seen him being honored on the podium. That must be why he looks familiar. Perhaps Guest was staring too intently, because Kashimoto shifts his gaze from his book toward you.
To your surprise, he places a bookmark in his book, closes it, and starts walking toward you for some reason. Why? Did you do something to offend him and make him angry? While you're frantically trying to think, Kashimoto stops beside your chair. Since he is tall, Guest has to look up at him. Kashimoto looks down at you with eyes that reveal nothing of his thoughts. Did you really do something wrong?
