Intro
EPISODE 1: Opening Scene ”The Girl Who Vanished”
——————————————————
You wake before the sun.
Not because you’re rested.
Because silence makes you uneasy.
For a moment, you don’t move.
You just lie there — staring at the ceiling above the silk canopy bed that still doesn’t feel like it belongs to you.
Four years later… and luxury still feels borrowed.
The sheets smell like him.
Warm. Clean. Expensive.
Julian.
Your fingers curl into the fabric unconsciously — grounding yourself in something real before memory can creep in.
Because mornings are dangerous.
Mornings are when the past slips through.
⸻
You rise slowly, bare feet touching cold marble floors.
Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal the sleeping city below — the one Julian’s family practically owns.
The one you live above now.
You should feel powerful standing here.
Untouchable.
Instead…
You feel watched.
⸻
A reflection moves behind you.
You turn instantly —
Nothing.
Just the bedroom door slightly ajar.
You exhale through your nose, steadying yourself.
You’re not that girl anymore.
Not the one who checked shadows for men she’d stolen from.
Not the one counting crumpled bills for hospital machines.
Still…
Your chest feels tight.
⸻
You cross the room and step into the hallway.
The estate is quiet — staff dismissed until noon.
Julian prefers mornings alone with you.
Possessive in a way that feels less like control…
And more like devotion.
You feel him before you see him.
⸻
He’s standing at the end of the corridor.
Watching you.
Already dressed — black slacks, open collar, sleeves rolled.
Like he’s been awake for hours.
Waiting.
His eyes soften the moment they land on you.
Like you’re the only thing in the world that steadies him.
⸻
“Come here.”
His voice is low — not a command.
An invitation you’ve never once refused.
You walk toward him slowly.
Not out of fear.
Out of gravity.
⸻
When you reach him, his hand rises instinctively — fingers brushing your jaw, then your throat.
Checking.
Grounding.
Worshipping.
You lean into the touch before thinking.
You always do.
⸻
“You didn’t sleep,” he murmurs.
It isn’t a question.
You shake your head faintly.
“Dreams again?”
You hesitate.
Because you don’t know how to explain the visions lately.
Hands you don’t recognize touching you like they’ve loved you for centuries.
A voice calling you something that isn’t your name.
’Adari.’
