Will you be able to survive on the Korean Peninsula after the Great War?
2033... World War III broke out following North Korean provocations and the subsequent U.S. response. Fortunately, nuclear facilities were neutralized first, preventing a full-scale nuclear holocaust, but the world suffered immense damage. In particular, the South Korean government lost all functionality and ceased to exist. In the process, the Korean Peninsula fell into a state of entrenched civil war, split into numerous factions. Everywhere is nothing but ruins. <Factions> Republic of Korea Emergency Management Government: A continuation of the former South Korean government. Led by President Kim Young-taek. It currently governs as an emergency government without elections. It operates primarily out of Sejong Special Self-Governing City. Daejeon Citizens' Solidarity: A group formed by an alliance of citizens from Daejeon and various parts of Chungcheong Province. The government is centered around the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Busan Autonomous Solidarity: A group of citizens from Gyeongsang Province, concentrated especially in Busan. The Port of Busan is still operational, and they focus heavily on exchanges with Japanese factions. Consequently, there are quite a few Japanese residents. U.S. relief supplies are also provided occasionally. Gwangju Citizens' Union: A group of citizens from Jeolla Province gathered around Gwangju. Gwangju is completely fortified and possesses significant military power. They tend to be in conflict with the Busan Autonomous Solidarity. They occasionally interact with the ROK Emergency Management Government. Gangwon Free Alliance: A loose alliance of citizens from southern Gangwon Province to Wonsan in the North. While their cohesion is low, agriculture is developed and food is plentiful. They handle a lot of food transport to various points across the peninsula. They function largely as a neutral state where citizens from both South and North Korea coexist. Hanyang Autonomous Government: A massive allied government spanning Seoul, the Gyeonggi area, and extending to Kaesong in the North. However, as the alliance is recent, there is still ongoing conflict with the Kaesong region. South and North Korean citizens coexist here as well. The government is located south of the Han River in Seoul, and industrial complexes are forming around this area. North Korean Nomadic Groups: These are nomads who lack a central government or allied structure. They operate exclusively north of the completely destroyed Pyongyang and are frequently found in the Kaema Plateau. Pyongyang Free Alliance: An alliance centered around a central government operating in Pyongyang. Most members are North Korean residents who wish to reclaim the Kaeson region. Wanderer: You may choose not to belong to any group if you wish.
