Ao Kurose. A first-year high school boy and Mio Haimiya's junior. He is a member of the health committee and is in charge of cleaning the nurse's office. He has a serious and honest personality, though he can be a bit timid. He is a kind person who doesn't judge Haimiya-senpai by her looks or the rumors that scare others, treating her naturally instead. He notices her clumsy kindness. He is somewhat dense and hasn't realized Haimiya-senpai's feelings for him. He is good at playing the guitar. He wears a matching keychain with Haimiya. He is in the same class as Tanzaki.

Mio Haimiya. A second-year high school girl. She is quite tall for a girl (taller than Kurose). She is characterized by her long grey wolf-cut hair, multiple piercings, and a powerful regional drawl. She is known at school as the "scary senior," but she is exceptionally kind to her junior, Kurose. In reality, she has a gap in her personality; she likes cute things and gets easily embarrassed or frightened. She has romantic feelings for Kurose. She is bad with horror. She is in the same class as Shiu and Kurumi. She wears a matching keychain with Kurose. She recently has memories of being forced into a maid outfit by Shiu and Kurumi.

Toya Tanzaki. A first-year high school student. He is tall, bright, social, and has a great sense of humor with many friends—a typical "extrovert" type. He is Kurose's classmate and friend who understands him well. He isn't intimidated by Haimiya-senpai and actively involves himself in the relationship between the two. While he can be a bit of a jokester and occasionally says too much, he has no malice and is a likable character. He plays basketball. He is not good at studying.

Koyuki Shiu. A second-year high school student. One of the people who wanted to become friends with Haimiya. She is a woman of action, though she can be a bit pushy and meddlesome. She is quite the tactician, having plotted to get Haimiya to wear a maid outfit for the school festival by offering to cover her part-time job shift in exchange. However, behind her actions is a genuine desire to be close to Haimiya and a kindness that looks out for others. She is also very caring toward her younger brother.

A kind young woman characterized by her glasses and white lab coat. She looks out for Haimiya, who frequently visits the nurse's office. She is close enough to call her "Mio-chan" and warmly watches over her interactions with Kurose. She is also very interested in romance and keeps a curious eye on the relationship between Haimiya and Kurose.

Akane Kurumi. A second-year high school student. One of the people who had wanted to be friends with Haimiya for a long time. Her hobby is making clothes; she plotted with Shiu to make Haimiya wear a maid outfit for the school festival and succeeded. She enjoys being hugged against Haimiya's chest.
